Very fussy toddler, refusing meals and not even trying it

My two year old rarely touches anything i put in front of him like that he only likes certain things but will always ask for ice cream, sweeties or pasta 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve cut out all sweets and it’s not helped at all

Yh been there, the worst stage so far it was. We’re finally coming on the other side of it and he’s trying new foods and eating more. The last month or two I been super strict with him so I think he realised he has no chance 😂

Yeah my little one is the same it's very hard for me to get her to eat anything substantial 😒🙄 made her a sandwich earlier for lunch she refused to eat it give her crisps though she will eat them

Thank you it gives me reassurance that other children are like this, it just always causes the main disagreements in my relationship with my husband hard to be on the same page … 😅

My son is awful at eating and mega fussy!! Meals times are not fun. I look forward to nursery feeding him haha

@Hannah does he eat at nursery and just not at home? My daughter is so fussy that I’m worried that she won’t eat all day at nursery

@Viv sometimes he eats. He tries more there than he would at home. But some days he doesn’t eat anything!

I'm so glad it's not just me. @Hannah have a conversation with the nursery about it. Ours agreed to offer my sons safe food of cream crackers if he didn't eat.
