Do we trust first response?

Top FR from yesterday, bottom 3 tests (all same pee) from this morning. Period due today, no idea of dpo as was not tracking. Have not used the dark cap FR before. The clear blue is one of the ultra early ones but I don’t think there is anything there. 😬

First Response are most sensitive and the ones I trust the most. Clear blue are notorious for evap lines And all digitals need more HCG to be positive

Can definitely see those lines on the top two!

@Amy definitely, but I have a love hate relationship with FR. When we were trying for our first baby FR would seem positive like this and then blood draw would be negative. I can’t get into my doctor for over a week so can’t get a blood draw at the moment so yeah just trying to work out if these FR are as bad as they were 2 years ago 🤣

i can see vv faint lines in the top 3 but for me personally I’ve always preferred & loved clear blue (even though other people are the opposite) i’ve never had issues with it

Yes trust the frer

I personally have gotten terrible evap lines on both first response and clear blue. If the digital says no, i’d say you probably arent. Ive been testing for over a year and have gotten really good at spotting evap lines unfortunately. Try again in a week, maybe the results will change.

Oh wow, that would have been really hard to process. Hopefully it’s just too early for the clearblue!

I have just had a terrible issue with the fr tests with evap lines had 3 positive line within 3 mins, had blood done and negative.

@Natalie this is what I am afraid of! Will definitely retest in a couple of days if period is still not here but would be nice to know a pregnancy test could be trusted 😬

Never had an indent or evap on a frer. They pick up at 5.5 and the others are at least 10 so yes I’d believe it!

Definitely positive first response

@Natalie that’s not accurate , it can say no if she tests too soon. By these lines if she is pregnant it would be too soon for a digital to pick up.

Try the pink dollar store ones!! Never steered me wrong!

I can see lines on all

It looks like you're dealing with quite a mix of results, which must feel confusing, especially with your period due today. Since you've used different types of tests (including the ultra early ones) and are seeing varied results, it might be best to wait a few days and test again if your period doesn't start. Testing first thing in the morning can sometimes give more accurate results due to higher concentrations of hCG in the urine. If the uncertainty continues, reaching out to your healthcare provider for a blood test could give you a clearer answer. Hang in there!

@Grace we can’t get them here in Australia 😬 I feel like I had had bad experiences with all the ones we can get here and don’t really trust it until I can see the words or the doctors tells me my blood draw is positive 🤦🏻‍♀️

Awe man , really?? I will say the tests these days have really gone to shit lately . They probably do it on purpose to get people to buy more tests . Yeah that makes sense! Maybe call and get in for a blood test!
