my dr prescribed me metronidazole 500mg for BV. I’m currently 8 weeks and 1 day, can this cause a miscarriage? I’m scared since i’ve gone through a miscarriage and after taking the medication i’ve been cramping.
Speak to your doctor if your concerned but they wouldn’t prescribe it if it wasn’t safe. It says on google it is well studied in pregnancy and safe to take. I’m sure leaving it untreated would be worse x
