Is it necessary to give your child a middle name?

I still haven’t decided on a first name but I know that is going to be a hassle. Just wondering if it’s necessary or maybe it’ll be easier to choose a middle name after I choose the first. I just don’t want it to be too much.

It's really all a matter of preference. I knew I wanted my kids to have middle names because I have one and I always thought it was cool. I chose first names first. Made it significantly easier to pick a middle name that worked.

We chose zaya for her 1st name and for the middle name we chose paisley just get a first name then try to find a middle name that flows with the name you picked that's what we did hope this helped

You can do whatever you want this is your baby! I am choosing my father name for the middle regardless if the baby is a boy or girl in memory of him. And to have his name be carried on. Bc this baby will never meet thier grandpa. For our first names I have picked out I asked my husband to pick some choices and I would pick some and we voted which we thought were best. We used the big name of babies book. But you could also look online I'm sure.

I like middle names because I don’t have one ! lol (hubby does) and so do our kids

@Mae I don’t have a middle name either and always really loved them. My husband and our kids have middle names too.
