Letting my husband name our baby girl

What a funny thing to cause such a stir amongst people. We’ve chatted, I like the same names as him and I said it might be a nice surprise for me after I’ve done all the hard work in labour, I’ll be so giddy to hear what he decided on in the end. He’s so excited to have his proud daddy moment and name his first born. I trust him and he’d never over rule me if I really hated a name which so far every one of them I like the sound of. He feels like it’s been a really nice bonding exercise for him and baby so far. And he thinks it’s funny him knowing something I don’t 😂. That’s just feed back from him personally. However some of friends said it’s crazy, old fashioned and how I must be mad to just give him that job. Maybe they didn’t see eye to eye with their potential baby names 🤷🏼‍♀️
