Formula fed baby not wanting it anymore

Hello all, My 11 month old loves food, loves water, but is not even finishing one bottle of formula. Should a be forcing her into having it?

Mine did the same reduced drinking formula. So at 11 n 1/2 months we transitioned him to A2 milk (240 ml in a day) supported by 3 meals n 3 snacks

How did you transition to milk?

Apparently they don’t need milk after 1 as long as they are getting all their nutrients from food. 11 months is pretty close to 1 - I would keep some formula in hand just incase it’s just a phase. You can offer cows milk or an alternative but it’s not needed! If they are eating well and drinking water then it sounds like they’ve weaned themselves!

@Steph so my son drank NaN supreme pro so we were certain that he isn’t lactose intolerant (since the formula has milk content) so we started off with 60 mls of milk and 120mls formula. He drank the milk without any hesitation and there was no reaction to it. So we slowly increased 30 mls until we completely replaced the formula. But a thumb rule recommended by my midwife was always food before milk at all times. And also I add calcium rich ingredients in his meal to compensate for the calcium from milk hence he only drinks 240 ml.
