Its around 7 weeks for a booking appointment, then you have your first scan at 12 weeks. Second at 20, and after 24 weeks midwife appointments become more. It’ll be a good few weeks yet. All they do is take details and give you a midwife, nothing exciting

This is the most underwhelming part! You get that amazing news and your GP receptionist says “here’s a number to call, leave a voicemail and they we’ll call you in a few weeks” 🤣🤣🤣

Congratulations! You can download the baby buddy app for advice and videos. You can also have a private viability scan at 6 weeks if you don’t want to wait so long before your nhs scan. They may be able to see the heartbeat too which is quite reassuring xx

congrats! i didn’t inform my GP and instead self referred myself to the my local pregnancy clinic and they gave me all my appointments. it might be different from county to county though, but in mine that’s how it’s done
You should get a letter in a few weeks with your booking appointment. I had my booking appointment around 8 weeks and got the letter around 2 weeks after self referring. I didn’t have an actual scan after referring until 12 weeks x
