I’d like to know the same! Booked in 2 weeks! Good luck xx

With my first My induction started at 11pm on Thursday contractions started Friday night baby was here Saturday at 11am - I was only 37 weeks though x

@Tammara thank you for replying! Xx

Started at 7:30pm Sunday and she was born 08:50am Tuesday, I was 39 weeks x

@Mia thank you! Xx

I was admitted at 10am on a Monday at exactly 39 weeks and they started the induction with the pessary. It didn’t work so over the next few days I had two lots of that and then the gel which also didn’t do much! In the early hours of Thursday morning they broke my waters and put me on the drip and she was born at 7am. So I was there for ages but nothing really happened til the Wednesday night. I hope it is quicker for you! Definitely take things to entertain you though just in case. Good luck!!

@Sophie thank you for commenting I really appreciate it!! Xx

With my first I was induced at 39+1. Given pessary at 16:20 on the Thurs. Contractions started about 4 hours later. My daughter was born Friday at 15:52 x

Let us know how you get on? I’m going in for another induction with my 2nd on 16th x

I went in on Monday and was already 2cm, they told me I didn't need a pessary or balloon as they could just pop my waters. I had to wait till 1pm on Tuesday for a bed on labour ward. After doing all mt checks they broke my waters and gave me 2 hours for the contractions to start before they had to put me on a drip. Thankfully they started right away and he was born 3 hours and 36 mins later :) x

I went in at 10am on a Friday and had baby by 12:16 on the Saturday. Only had the 3 lots of gels as my waters then broke themselves and I dilated fast so didn’t need the drip. I had to stay in a couple of nights after due to issues feeding, but if I was formula feeding I’d have been home later on the sat

I was induced with my first, pessary inserted midday on the Wednesday, contractions had started by 4pm, baby was here 4pm Thursday. Hope it goes well! ☺️

I was induced at 39weeks because my waters broke and I wasn’t having contractions (they gave me about 18 hours). Started pitocin at around 2am and delivered at 4.30pm

@Simone I will! I’m currently still here had contractions but nothing much yet, they were very often and painful but have stopped since then, waiting to see how dilated I am after pessary xx
