Thankyou 🥰 I’ve been taking a prenatal since October 2023, I’ve just booked myself the earliest appointment I can with my gp in two days! It’s so hard to get too excited and not feel terrified that I’ll miscarry again
It's definitely hard, but don't stress! They'll probably do blood work since you're so early, the earliest I've gotten an ultrasound is 6-7 weeks. I don't have mine until next Tuesday and I'm around 9 weeks. Usually if it's before 6-7 weeks, they have a harder time finding a heartbeat so they don't want to stress out moms, but they will do blood work to check your hcg and make sure it's going up. And unless you have painful cramps, don't stress about that either. It's normal, and enjoy sleeping on your back because before you know it you'll have to be on your left side lol. Don't stress! I can't tell you how many women's first pregnancy ends in a miscarriage; including myself, my mom, my grandmas, my aunts, my friends. I'm sure you'll have a healthy pregnancy, find a good prenatal, drink a lot of water, rest, find a free clinic or schedule an appointment with a midwife or OB. Congratulations, be excited, grateful and happy!
