PP IUD

i received my iud april 17th and started my period the same day here it is may 3rd and i still have my period (16 days), i wanna know if this is normal before i reach out to my doctor!

I don’t know if it’s necessarily your period. I just had an iud put in and they told me I could be spotting for up to 6 months 🙃

I had my period too a week after I got my IUD and it lasted almost 3 weeks! So I reached out to my doctor and has stated that it’s normal. That my body is confused for a bit because it got used to being pregnant for a while. It should stop some time in the following week.

I’m dealing with the exact same thing! Ready for this to be done but I know it could last a while 🙃
