Heavy bleeding

How heavy is the bleeding? I’ve known many women to bleed in the first few weeks and they’ve had healthy babies it definitely doesn’t always mean a miscarriage. It could be subchorionic hematoma x

If it is a subchorionic hematoma, it can range from light bleeding to heavy bleeding with clotting, so it’s definitely possible. Have you informed them of how heavy the bleeding is in the EPU?x

Go to A&E they can request an emergency scan for you x

I would definitely go to A&E x

My tests were very positive even after my miscarriage so unfortunately tests can’t tell you anything. The best way to know is seeing a doctor or having an ultrasound. Hope everything is ok for u

My tests continued to get darker but scans showed the baby passed around 6w gestation and my body didn't register the loss so kept producing HCG I've also had heavy bleeding from a SCH and everything was fine So until you have your scan go by you're still pregnant until told otherwise, sending hugs as I know what that wait is like to be scanned

Sorry I’ve just been through this exact thing! Positive test with 4 days of bleeding and getting darker every day until I had a dye stealer last weekend and my scan at 6 weeks on mondau showed ectopic and I’ve just had my right tube removed! I don’t want to scare you but make sure the EPU look after you My bloods were doing everything they should, doubling every 48hrs tests getting darker, baby was just in the wrong place 😞 please get yourself checked over xxx

Just very heavy and red I can’t remember any goo but I found the amount of blood disturbing and then it just stopped and pregnancy progressed with no more blood, they scanned me at 5 weeks and saw nothing then again after my 3rd blood draw and saw it was in my right tube, definitely get checked out at the hospital xx

I'd go to hospital and get checked over personally, better to have peace of mind and they should see you in gynaceology outpatients. Period bleeding is quite heavy and I'd definitely rather know. X

Following to see how this turns out. I got a faint positive on Friday n had light spotting which has now progressed into a period. When similar happened to me in 2021 they said wait for the bleeding to stop and take a test 7 days later. My bleeding turned into a flood so I went to AnE they scanned me n said I needed to go back 10 days later as they could only see a sac with nothing in it. My test was really strong ( a dye stealer) the sac kept growing but nothing grew inside so it was producing the hormones and not a baby. I'd 100% get checked out.

@Edwina UPDATE- tests were still getting darker, even last nights was darker than yesterday mornings. I did another this morning and it was practically negative, and my scan showed only a bit of fluid, I miscarried and my body just took a few days for my levels to drop
