Anyone work at a nursery? Really need advice

My 13 month old started beginning of March 6th and goes Wednesdays and Fridays and still she hasn’t settled. She’s super attached to her key worker to the point the key worker struggles to do other things yet she’s not that clingy at home. I just don’t know whether to change nurseries or is it still early?

I do. It’s Deffo still early hun. My boy comes with me and is the same with his key worker. It’s a loud, busy environment for them. He’s also 13month old (in a few days) He’s been coming since 9m old but seems to be going through a clingy stage right now x

It takes a lot for a baby to adjust at nursery I work at a nursery it’s hard work because there is other babies that are settling in at the same time that might be the case that’s why it’s taking longer

I work in nurseries and we have this a lot, it’s completely normal it will pass. Some babies, don’t do it, some for a short time and some for a while. It’s completely based on your baby, it will pass it just takes some time. I know it’s really hard, but I’d stick where you are the bitting and batting between nursery is going to make it harder and your back to square one possibly xx

Thank you girls for the reassurance x

Hiya. My boy is super attached to his key worker and cries when she leaves the room. She’s said it’s totally normal and he will adjust. I’m just happy he loves her and feels safe and comfortable. She’s fine with it too
