Growth dipped

Anyone ever had a growth drop? Been having growth scans since 28 weeks, had another Thursday 34 weeks and babies growth has dropped :( they checked baby against the guidance for what they should put on per day and he was under that aswell so another scan in 2 weeks at 36 weeks just to check but I’m really worried. What will happen is his growth still hasn’t picked up at 36 weeks? Will they bring my section date forward? Monitor me a lot more? I’m so confused from it all and left the hospital feeling so deflated as I didnt get told anything other than ‘see what the next scan shows’ I feel so helpless :(

I had this at my 32 wk growth scan, it really stressed me out, they brought me back after two weeks and I had the scan on Monday he was back up to where he had previously been, they said it could have been just the difference in who measured or that baby was in a position difficult to get measurements xx

@Nicola see he’s followed the line from his 28 week scan, so the 32 weeks one they reckon maybe they over estimated his abdomen but it’s still a worry.. I’ve got midwife Tuesday so will also speak to her as I’m feeling really rubbish about it x

I’ve totally lost faith in my scans. Started off on 40th centile, slowly crept to 60th. Dropped to 40th centile, then this week scan he’s measuring 89th centile. I was having scans every 4 weeks, then every 2 to monitor the growth. Now they have decided not to trust my scans, and as he’s happy they will just rescan me in 4 weeks at 39 weeks 😬 As long as baby is happy, try not to worry about the weight. Usually if they have dropped again they will book your date in ready at your next scan and depending how far away that is they may scan you in between.

@Michelle I’ve got my date booked for section at 39+1 so I should have a scan at 36+1 and then probably be again at 38+1 but I just don’t know how to feel :( x
