No fluid in sac

So I’ve been for a scan today at 19 weeks to find out baby has no fluid around her. We ended up in maternity triage and now been referred to fetal medicine who work with kings, I’m just wondering if anyone else has gone through the same thing and what the outcome was? So worried don’t know what to do with myself x

I am not going through that, but I will keep you and the baby in my prayers

No experience but I’m praying for you and baby girl!

I only had that at the very end of my pregnancy and had to be induced because of it. I had to sit the entire labor since every time I would sit up or walk baby couldn't breathe from going on top of his umbilical cord. I was able to deliver vaginally and he's very healthy. I know it's super scary, you got this mama 💕

My water broke at 30 weeks, so a little different, but still didn’t have water in the sac. I was hospitalized for other reasons, but I’m assuming they’ll have you come in a for more frequent ultrasounds if not keep you in the hospital to monitor Baby can still strive without fluids though! Just make sure you are chugging water, and staying hydrated

My little one stayed in for 4 weeks , I had a planned Csection at 34 weeks But it wasn’t due to having no fluid! Just other reasons! But not much was effected from the fluid!

I’ve got to go for a specialist scan to determine if it’s the bladder or kidneys that’s the issue, I can’t reply to individual comments. Everything I’ve read says either baby won’t survive or when they’re born it’ll be endless complications x

Basically drink a ton of water and it could replenish the fluid)

Keep praying, don’t listen to others that are negative just because they’ve gone thru things that didn’t end well for THEM does not mean things will end unwell for you! You and little one has got this! Our bodies are stronger then we can imagine!

@Kacey but it isn’t I’ve lost it, there is none because the baby isn’t peeing. So may be issues with her bladder or kidneys x

@Sam oh... I really hope your baby is okay. Praying 💜🙏

Praying everything will be okay for you and baby ❤️x

@Sam did they not check kidneys at the scan? I know how scary it is when you’re told there’s something wrong. I’m under fetal medicine for borderline ventriculomegaly. Please try and stay positive until you know for sure you need to worry. Feel free to message me if you need/want to chat xx

@Jodie they could only see one due to her position, I’ve done the worst thing and looked into it and researched and haven’t found any positive outcomes of baby surviving with no fluid x

Have a look on Facebook to see if there’s a group. I managed to find a group on ventriculmegaly and it’s helped me a lot. All your find online is negative stuff xx

@Sam there are so many people in the world born with just 1 kidney xx

You need to make sure you're going to a hospital that has a NICU, with NICU Drs. They CAN save your baby but you may need to sit in a bed until term,in the hospital.to watch for infection and may do emergency c section.eat lots of watermelon, cucumber, peaches, pears, lettuce 💦

I was admitted at around 22/23 weeks because my water ruptured, I layed in a hospital bed for almost 3 weeks.mime was 2.5lb and healthy, I've seen babies in a plastic sack weighing around 15oz

I’m going to have to medically terminate, she’s suffocating, she has no amniotic fluid so her lungs aren’t developed. She will never breath on her own and need countless operations, transplants, be on ventilators dialysis or a trachea and I don’t want that life for my little girl x

@Sam I’m so so sorry, please keep your family and loved ones close, and see someone if you need to ❤️ I’m here if you ever need to talk x

I’ve been thinking about you and your little girl. I’m so incredibly sorry to read your update. Sending lots of prayers and hugs your way mama 🥺🤍

Sam, please please get a second opinion from a maternal fetal medicine doctor. If you don’t want to and you aren’t 100% sure i recommend a second opinion. I was told to medically terminate and my little one is now 7 months old , happiest little guy

@Hannah yeah I’m waiting for a phone call from them. she explained it all to me on the phone, she said baby’s can survive with one kidney if it’s functioning and fluid can regenerate but she also asked me if I have any questions and have I read up on it and I said I’ve prepared myself for the worst and she said yes this is a fatal situation x
