I'm not 100% sure either but I know you get a code when you sign up for it and you give that to the nursery to get the 20% off. I need to sort ours but have to wait until May.

So you deduct 20% from the total cost you’re being billed for as the government top that much up. There is an government account you bank transfer the outstanding amount to which will go into your childcare account. It can take time to get across like a day or so, so keep an eye to check when the money has gone in with the government top up. It’ll have at the bottom of the page pay childcare. You’ll have to put in the details of the place you’re paying to (i cant remember how that part shows up to put details in). Then it says set up payment once you added them to your account next to their name. You click that to pay them by putting how much and when you want the payment to go out.

You add 80% in they add 20%. You get capped at 500 every 3 months. It takes time to process we use this and have now for 3 months. Every 3 months you also have to confirm the account again. Make sure you do this!
