I have a 5 month old and she keeps doing this with her arms when being lifted and held sometimes I’m concerned this isn’t normal. Before I go to the doctors to check did anyone else’s baby do this?

Oohh my 15 week old is doing this when I pick him up and hold him upright against me. Not every time but enough that I started to wonder, so glad I've seen this and know it's normal at some point
Haha yes totally normal and I think it’s too cute!
My doctor said he was going to be a swimmer lol. Basically what it came down to was him learning what his body could do and wanting to be on the move.

Oh yeah, my LO did it all the time during tummy time. It's totally normal and most (if not all) babies do this. I believe that it helps with balance on the tummy and then learning to actually be on their tummy
