For my 9 month old the teething crackers are a must when in the car like a lot of them lol also maybe a car mirror so they can look at themselves

Lots of snacks and toys! We had someone sit back there with our son the whole time to hand him toys he dropped and keep him as entertained as possible. Also plan to stop a couple times and get out for a bit.

Snacks! And this comes from someone who’s lil one dislikes the car! It’s a good distraction.

We just did a 12 hour road trip with my 10 month old and I found it helpful to line it up with their last nap so then I’m only entertaining for roughly 2 hours in the car before her bedtime and it worked out really well. However, it depends on if they are a good car sleeper or not!

We just spent most of the day Saturday driving. Lots of different toys to rotate thru and stopping every so often to stretch baby. If really fussy do the checks (diaper, hunger, comfort). Baby music helps or audio book(we found eric carle stories on YouTube). When it's nap time, sound machines, or we really like the sparrow sleeps lullaby covers.

We drive 4hr round trip almost every week with our little girl. We always align the drive with her first morning nap & we usually try to wake her up early & keep her awake a little longer before the nap. She then passes out and sleeps the entire 2hr there!
