Best play mat?

My floors are really slippery and I’m trying to get my son to crawl. Any recommendations for the best play mats? He likes soft surfaces like mattresses but obviously I know that’s not a good play mat 😂

I got scared off by the fact that they're all made with toxic foam. I bought an organic cotton rug and a natural rubber rug pad to go underneath (not necessary, but it gives some more cushion). It worked out perfect for us! Plus, the rug is machine washable, which I love!
