Solo Mom Life
I just feel like I need to rant & I hope someone can understand the feeling Im going through right now. I had my son almost 3 years ago in October. I’ve been doing it alone ever since with no help from his father. My younger sister had my niece & her child’s father was there for her whole pregnancy and for 6 months after. She got with someone shortly after that so she’s never really been fully alone. My youngest sister recently found out she was pregnant and her boyfriend is so supportive and helps her with everything. My brother and his girlfriend are pregnant & same thing with them. With that being said everything with pregnancy is triggering to me. I did it all alone. Nobody to take pictures with, nobody to tag my pregnancy announcement in, nobody standing beside me at my gender reveal or baby shower. My mom went with me to all my appointments & i’m so blessed that she was there but it’s not the same feeling as having the person you created a child with being there with you. Please tell me someone knows this feeling.

@Katherine my pregnancy was rough as well. I think the reason why it’s triggering is because everyone else had someone and nobody knows what i went through pregnancy wise. it’s just hard bc everyone else gets like a happy time and i had so much stuff go on during my pregnancy. Idk it’s just hard
@Kelsey yess so true, seeing other women enjoying their pregnancy while I was going through so much, it’s bringing me flash backs, I know how you feel, sometimes even when your with someone it can feel lonely

Some times I wish I did it alone, I was with my child father during my pregnancy, he ruined everything for me he didn’t wanna do any of the gender reveal or baby shower, he did so many f-up things to me, I cried soooo much I thought my daughter was going to effect my daughter’s health , but don’t feel bad you probably dodged a bulletproof god has something good for you ❤️
