Scream Crying in Sleep

My baby is 11 months, he’s been a good night sleeper since. Doesn’t fuss much to wake up when it’s feeding time. Unfortunately he had a traumatic experience in the ER over a week ago. I’ve noticed ever since his visit he’s been scream crying in his sleep. It’s like you’re hurting him badly. Because of this we’ve been co-sleeping. I’m not sure what to do.

When my son was around 7 months he had gotten sick and we taken him to the ER. After that he would cry scream when I change his diaper or feed him during the night. This went on for a few weeks. I had gotten a night light for the room to help him see around and show him but was ok. I just rocked him every time and just held him so he knew I was there for him. Sometimes I would just make sure he was fully away and walk him around the home so he knew it was all ok

@Andi awwwee that’s so sweet 🤍 thank you for being his protector ❤️ It’s so crazy to think that although they are so tiny ER visits can also be traumatic for him. I knew that was the reason for his behavior. I’m not sure how I’ll be able to speak to him if he’s still sleeping but whenever he has woken up I just cuddle him.

@JulieThat’s all that matters is being there. They feel the love and the warmth from you and they know they are safe with mommy
