Friend where have you been?!?!?!

I’m biracial and I have always had a very hard time with finding friendships my entire life. It’s either people saying you’re too pretty, you don’t speak the language, you’re not enough of this half or that half. Have any other mixed women experienced this? I just want one loyal ass friend for once in my life. I just want to not be prejudged.

I’ve experienced the same. Especially like not fitting in the right crowd

Finding friends has always been hard for me too. It's easier over text to make friends for me because I'm antisocial. And me and my boyfriends friends kinda stopped visiting us I really only have like 2 friends. I just had my baby 2 weeks ago and I feel like I'm not gonna be able to make mommy friends except the ones I already have.

I'm so sorry this has been your experience. I definitely understand what this feels like. No judgement here 🙃 you could be purple for all I care!! 😆 What really matters is your intentions and character. Drop me a message if you like 🫶

Go to places where there’s a crowd and lots of skin colors blend in. Places like church, or a hobby group like Zumba or Pilates or gym or salsa Latin socials. There I find people of all skin colors, of all ages and I’m Asian but some days I look mixed esp in summer when I live on the beach but those are places that have a really mixed crowd I find and where I make my friends. A lot of people can’t tell what I am when intros happen and we ask each other that question so yeah.

@Kellie I’m not trying to blend in. I’m trying to make lasting and meaningful friendships not based on my physical appearance.

No I get that, what I’m trying to say if you go places that are very multicultural you’ll find girls there that you can befriend and they won’t make comments like “you’re too pretty” “you don’t speak the language” etc etc. is what I was getting at.

I’m sorry this is your experience!!!! I would totally be your friend I don’t judge people
