Woolies and coles food quality

I just want to vent. There’s never a week that goes by that i’m not receiving off meat from them. Especially the chicken. I thought it might’ve been because I was leaving in the fridge for 24 hours before cooking but I just picked up some chicken breast, brought it home and went to cook it straight away and the foul fucking smell that came from it, arrrgghhh I’m so angry! I only bought enough for tonight as I was going to do a big grocery shop tomorrow while the kids were at school and now we’re eating toasties and there’s no leftovers for lunches tomorrow. They’re not only charging us ridiculous prices but the quality recently is shocking! Don’t even get me started on the fruit and veg. Aldi is just as bad. I feel like such a Karen but it’s been happening for a good year now. The local butcher is an extra 15 mins drive but I might just have to make the trip there. Anyone else have this issue?
