Potty training

My little girl has just turned 2. What should I be doing to prepare her? I have the toilet seats and the little steps and now and then I ask her if she wants to go on the big toilet. I just go with her. She sometimes does a wee, she has also done a poo. But I don’t want to force it on her or just scare her away. How often should I take her to the toilet or any useful hints and tips please

I have a potty and a seat for the toilet, I ask multiple times a day if he needs a poo or wee and try to get him to sit on it. I’ve bought kiddy pants for when it’s warmer. I play videos about potty training on the tv, I have a potty training reward chart but I think mine isn’t quite ready yet.

I have also got a training potty but my son refuses to got in it. He would happily sit on the toilet and just chat. And then poo in the nappy. I’m now planning to not put the nappy on at all as I’ve heard this helps the children feel the sensation of being wet a bit more and helps in the training. Let us know how you get on and what helped
