Nearly every time I feed my 6 month old baby porridge or a pouch from a bowl. I spoon feed him and he's eating away but then I have to take the spoon out of his mouth to put more food on the spoon so I can continue feeding him. Every time I do this he starts screaming hysterically. I am simply not fast enough. A part of me also wonders if maybe he's not hungry but I don't know as his last bottle was 3 hours ago.

We give my son a spoon to play or practice feed with and then feed him with a different one. That might help.

ok thanks I'll try that for his next meal

My LO is doing the exact same thing. I’ve tried giving him another spoon but can’t seem to move that one away to be able to actually feed him with my spoon …

Have two spoons for yourself - load one and give it to baby then when he takes that out you can hand him the next one OR feed with that one
My LO is the same - he gets soooo impatient.
I must say it can be messy so try an empty spoon first but my baby has hacked that the spoon is empty and doesn’t like that haha

I’ve seen the ‘double spoon’ method on instagram
