Lump on head behind ear

My LB had one when he was about 2mths. It was a lymph node where he was fighting a bug but had no external symptoms. Can you wiggle it around if you poke it? Does it cause LO pain/discomfort if you poke it? If it wiggles with no pain, then likely lymph node, if it is painful or stays still then it may be a deep spot.

My LO has had one on her neck since she was a newborn (8 months and still has it)
Sometimes more prominent than other times
She had an ultrasound and results came back fine that is a normal lymph node just find it odd that it doesn't go away
If your LO had had a temp it could be due to that, if it doesn't go in two weeks see a doctor for reassurance

she doesn’t seem to have discomfort from it. I haven’t try to wiggle it to be honest

ahh bless her, yea I’m going to keep an eye on it as I have a huge fear of lumps for obvious reasons. I didn’t know if it was a normal thing as this is my first little one x

So weird you’ve said this as I only went to the drs last week for mine. They weren’t worried and said it was a lymph node xx
