Weaning going backwards?

We started at 6 months with purées for first tastes. That went well so moved to spoon feeding purée savoury (blended what we were having/made portions of salt-free meals etc) and we’ve basically never got any further! Finger food goes on the floor, sometimes a little nibble but 90% on the floor. Some days she lives on yogurt 🤦🏼‍♀️ Am I doing it wrong? What do I do now?!

No advice but we are the exact same!!!

My daughter has gone backwards as well she spits half her food out now it’s frustrating because she’s nearly 1 and supposed to be on 3 meals a day and snacks but god knows how at this rate

@Charley thanks - at least we aren’t the only ones!! X

@Anneliese yes I wasn’t giving it too much thought cos “food before one is just play” but now we are 4 weeks away from her being 1 and she’s still mainly surviving on formula!

I know same! I think I’ve been giving food at wrong times like too close after she’s had milk. I think they don’t eat as much because they think they will get milk anyway so it doesn’t matter x

Have you tried reducing the amount of milk she's drinking? Only by a little bit. The HV recommended that for my LO because she was actually drinking quite a lot of milk and this has helped a bit with eating.
