Hey! My little girl turns 2 in June, she starts her new nursery in June as well! I understand when she turns 2 she’s entitled to the free hours, how do I apply for this?

Hi unfortunately you wont be able to claim the funding until the term after she turns two. So this will be September you will be able to claim the funding. Go to https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to check your eligibility and you should be able to apply from there.
I was under the impression you won’t get funding until September. My little one turned 2 at the end of April and she won’t get funding until September either because she didn’t turn 2 before 1st April. We have to apply by 15th June for the funding on the government website if you get approved you get given a code to give to the nursery x
