I travelled from Heathrow to Miami yesterday with my nearly 6 month old and it was not as scary as I thought it was going to be! I was so anxious about the trip but it was so easy and all the staff on the airplane were amazing! I don’t know what I was worried about! I’d say go for it! The flight to Spain is only a few hours and then you get to make lovely memories at the end of it!!

@Charlotte thank you so much so 2 Month it would be not so early

I don’t think so! I would just recommend that baby is either drinking milk or sucking a dummy for take off and landing ☺️

@Charlotte perfect and do you mind telling did you pay something or it is free to go long flights too for the baby.?

I think it depends on the airline so worth checking the website of who you will probably fly with! We flew with BA and there was a heavily discounted fee, but it was a long-haul flight too!

My baby girl first flight was when she was nearly 2 months old. Now she is nearly 10 months and she had 14 flights already 😅 we travelled in Europe(3/4 ours flights). At 2 months is perfect because they sleep most of the time! They get older, they sleep less and they are more active and curious during the flight. Like Charlotte said,is important for the baby’s ears to drink or sucking for take off and landing.

Following this post as my partner wants to take our little one to Spain when she’s 2 months but the idea of it terrifies me!

The sooner the better. Took my 9 week old 24 hours to Australia and it was the easiest flight we ever had
