Scared to give my baby rice cearal or an snack that is rice based.

I have these grain and grow puffs from gerber and the teethers that are rice based also the rice cereal. Rice has arsenic in it. Should I still give them to my baby or are there alternatives? Arsenic is a know carcinogen. I feel like I posioned my kid. Should I keep them or throw them out

Can’t be scared of everything .. my baby eats those puffs like they’re going out of style. If you’re worried don’t feed your kid any type of rice and make your own foods from scratch. Kids eat a lot of stuff that aren’t “good” for them

We do oatmeal instead of rice cereal.

We have grain free puffs and my daughter loves them! My MIL got gerber puffs and I threw them out. Don’t beat yourself up if your baby had some already it’s okay! Our favorite puff brands: serenity kids and yumi. You can find at target and major grocery stories Here are other rice free puffs https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/childrens-products/g46067354/best-baby-puffs/

I could not find rice free teething wafers and crackers but found the Happybaby brand to be the most acceptable (organic. No added sugar like Gerber 🤮) after comparing a bunch and we give those to our baby all the time

Serenity kids has some good snacks

https://www.yummytoddlerfood.com/easy-oatmeal-bars/ I made this with egg ( without would probably be a bit more crunchy..... Note, use maple syrup, honey should not be given before 1 year old)

I still give my baby all of that. Keep in mind out of millions of people only a few have had issues and they can't say for sure what it is. Rice has always had arsenic in it and it's a huge staple food for like 4 billion people on the planet.
