I started using a gentle taming cream broadly around 6 months (she had very little hair so it wasn’t really necessary) now she’s 18m and her hair is getting wavy so I use a balm stick and the same taming cream but it’s growing in so funky as far as length that we mainly do a variety of piggy tail styles lol
I started using coconut oil since day 1
Two months I only use leave in conditioner since oil makes her head red and bumpy
Right away (once starting baths)
Was using bubbsi. Just switched over to shea moisture. I use the shampoo/bath milk, conditioner, and hair & bidy oil, about to order leave in.
I started using oil once her cord fell off
@Brianna what kind ?
@Willow you’re fine ! thank you ❤️
@Candice you’re welcome momma 🫶🏻. And my baby is two months and I have been doing my it since he could have baths.
My mom always used baby lotion in my hair as a toddler.. But I hear ruckers roots is a really good brand for curly hair kids and I plan to use that. They're also black owned
@India hey, looked them up on Amazon but I didn’t see anything that specificity says baby. What would you recommend??
@Willow it won't load the picture but it's the one in a white jar(papaya & mango sculpting gel) They sell it at target, Walmart, & Macy's
I started using La’Chel Beauty on my 1st daughter around 6 months. La’Chel is a small black owned business that I found on TikTok. Absolutely love; https://lachelbeaute.com/
About 2 months I started using Proudly baby oil for my daughter's curly hair. She's 6 months now and I have no complaints.
