I also don’t go and will prioritise baby’s sleep above everything else!
It depends- sometimes I leave like 40 mins before and hope she will sleep in the car or walk there and she will sleep in the pram- I often find she is too excited at class and doesnt nap til after OR if I stay hope she doesnt nap til later anyway and I missed the class for no reason. I usually go and if she is asleep in her pram thats fine I just have a coffee lol guess it depends on what class it is x
I just carry on like normal. He’s fallen asleep twice at baby group. 1st time was okay as I was chatting to mums 2nd time I was alone nobody to talk to so we left. Other times he’s stayed awake being nosy and fallen asleep on the way home
Ditto what @Laura says. I’d rather have a rested and happy baby and find a class that suits his current nap times. I was in a class the other day with a very tired baby and poor mama and none of them looked like they were enjoying it 😔
My baby isn’t on a strict schedule, so I would go. Sometimes he has a Power Nap on the way to somewhere, sometimes he’ll fall asleep before the end. But I’m happy with that, and so is he ☺️ With my first child, I wouldn’t have done a class if it clashed- but staying home, anxious about my routine not being disturbed did no favours for my mental health, or for my baby who probably could have gone to more and experienced more, and who still had crap sleep 😂
Thanks! I’m going to hope he falls asleep on the way there! Was originally going to drive but a long 40min pram ride should force him to sleep just before👍🏼❤️ *hopefully* everyone is a winner this way 😅 it’s a baby massage class so he definitely needs to be awake
We have one on a Thursday at 10.30 which is usually nap time but he loves it so much that he stays awake for it and if he gets fussy I just give him his bottle but he usually gets distracted by the fun haha! He sometimes has a little power nap on the way there and then has a great nap afterwards xx
Personally I don't go because baby gets overtired and I get stressed 🫠🙃
