Mines is 4 weeks today and has recently been fussy feeding every 2 hours and only taking 2 ounces at a time sometimes. We get a good feeding in maybe twice a day 3 at most now but it’s been constant fussy and falling asleep at the bottle. Like right now about 3-4 hours ago we got a great feed and sleep In and now atm he ate 2 oz and fussed to sleep. Disappointing because I want him to eat and sleep well but I think this plays a part in them learning how to poop. He’s been doing good pooping still but he gets so frustrated while passing gas he ends up falling asleep after trying to push 😓
@Hannah 3 weeks today. I’m hoping this is a phase. I’m so tired and frustrated 😭 I wish he would feed every 2 hours. He eats multiple times each hour right now
My baby is 5 weeks and still doing this 😭she refuses the bottle, currently still exploring other bottles to see if I can find one she likes, but it is so demanding and it’s hard 😭
I could have written this myself. How old is your baby? Mine is 3 weeks and still cluster feeds like he’s just been born. If I pace feeds to every 2 hours which is what he should be doing, by the time I finally feed him he’s so tired he doesn’t really want to drink and then the cycle starts again so I’m at a complete loss
