Collecting collostrum

Is it normal to only get 1ml out of each boob. I've tried pumping and it doesn't work for me. So I had express and have been for nearly 2 weeks but each time (doing it twice a day) I only get 1ml out of each boob.

I’ve been trying everyday and getting nothing half a drop if I’m lucky I’m hoping that’s not an issue or I may cry 🤣

@Tammie Oh no bless you. I presume you've tried all the tips and tricks. I've heard some woman literally can't get any before birth! I didn't with my daughter

I was getting 1ml on each boob before my baby was born and he’s now feeding great and I’m expressing about 120ml every 3 hours (he’s 1 week old) so I wouldn’t worry🥰

I wasn’t getting much the first couple of times I tried, but now have 11 syringes. I’ve started using the warm flannel method. Put a warm flannel on my boob for 2-3 minutes before, then express by starting from the back towards the nipple (if that makes sense) comes out so much easier now.

I just tried for the first time and I’ve got nothing 😮‍💨

@Christie Then I couldn't get above 0.1 qnd now I get 1ml out of each. I know a lot of woman get more but 4ml a day I'm happy with
