I am 1000% a clean as I go person and I love to find others like that! I can’t sit and relax with dishes. Also, while things are cooking it’s good to make use of time

My husband cleans as he goes and I wait until I’m done. Also i eat and put leftovers away before doing dishes but he wants to do dishes before eating. It’s a constant struggle. I’d rather he clean the dishes if I make dinner or I’ll clean if he cooks but because he cleans as he cooks he thinks that that’s not fair.

I clean as I cook then when I’m done cooking I put the food in containers and sit them in the middle of the kitchen counter and just wash the pots and pans and than I eat so that way there are no more dishes. We use paper plates and plastic cups and utensils till we can get get some actual plates and stuff but I’m in no rush🤣

Unless he’s offering help he needs to be quiet. I am the same tbh, I have to do it as I go along. I plate and give everyone their food, then I clear/clean the work tops and wash the big things like pots as they don’t go in the dishwasher. Then after I eat I just need to load the dishwasher.

Yessss I clean as I go helps keep house more tidy because if I wait it will be a bigger mess by the time it’s time to clean ummmm noooo I try avoiding that

@Kya see my dishwasher has a “pots and pans” setting but i refuse to put my pans in there because im just scared it’ll fuck up my pans somehow and they’re on the newer side 😂 it’s my first time actually having a dishwasher and it’s so nice but half the time i still end up hand washing the dishes lol

@Dereka you should put the pans in the dishwasher. I also have one for the firts time and I have brand new pans. It doesn’t samashe them. Make sire to clean it a little before.

@Dereka yes same my first time also. I low key enjoy washing up as I’ve done it my whole life. I don’t know, my non stick pans don’t say they are dishwasher safe so I wouldn’t dare anyway.
