I feel like I do everything

Why does it always feel like I do everything for my kids and the house? My partner does work Mondays to Fridays but he seems to sleep in every Saturday and Sunday whilst I'm awake at 5am or 6am every day with the kids. No matter how many times I talk or argue about it nothing changes

Relationship breakdown

Since having my son 5 weeks ago, my relationship with my husband is sort of on the rocks. I love him to pieces but since having my baby boy I’m so exhausted with the night feeds, having to still cook, clean, do laundry, do dishes, cluster feeding during the day, all while trying to look after myself as I’m still hea...

Sugar schools

I am so irritated that the schools pass out as much sugar as they do! It's like every day!! They give them Starbucks gift cards too. Why? It's gotten under my skin. I was talking to my son and one of his teachers and I kinda blurted out "he's diabetic". I said this to be a joke. But then was debating if I should jus...

I feel like my boyfriend doesn’t realize/consider that Mother’s Day is a week away. This is my first so I really don’t wanna be let down. He never makes my birthday/ Christmas feel special. Often financial excuses but spends money any other time. I’m sure I’m jumping to conclusions but I definitely have aniexty from...

Holiday Questions!

Hey All, I’m about to take my little one away to Mallorca next month for first time she’ll be around 6 months! I just had a few questions wondered if anyone could help with? Did you take a whole packet of nappies or buy some there? Any tips for when at airport? Did you find special baby sun cream or just a facto...

Eating at nursery

My girl is due to start nursery next month (she’ll be one) and I was wondering if anyone knew how the children are fed at nursery? She has entered a phase where she wants to be independent and feed herself. She’s great at eating finger foods but has started refusing to eat with a spoon. She won’t allow me to feed h...

I’m freaking out.

I feel like a horrible mom. Sometimes when we are on the go and to try some foods I’ve given my son the Happy Baby purée pouches, he loves them. But I looked them up and there is a recall for arsenic and lead products in them. I’m so scared. It says they could cause neurological problems. He’s been eating them for a...

Rant

My MIL and FIL decided to come up- from Wednesday, bearing in mind it’s now Sunday- to help. I personally hate people moving my stuff and messing with my house. We don’t actually need the help tbh, but they’re here anyway. They kindly bought us some more furniture which was lovely, but also are wanting to help build...

Children's museum

Careful going to the children's museum when it's a free night. Took my son there last night and now he is in a sling with a broken clavicle due to him falling in a room and a bigger child jumping on his shoulder. Not even a single parent bothered to say anything.

SAHM and partner debate

Anyone else’s partner makes out it’s easy to be a SAHM. I’m so fed up of him telling me how easy it is and how he could do it. Makes me feel so shit bcos all I do is work hard to make sure our little boy is happy and the house is tidy, clean washing and food. I don’t have anytime to think about myself and he just sa...
