Colostrum

Hi All, I’ve been trying to collect colostrum now for a week and I can’t get anything into a syringe. A slight glisten around the nipple if anything. Any advice?

No advice but just wanted to say same! Watched YouTube vids, tried hot shower beforehand, made sure I’m relaxed but nothing x

I’m right there with you! I collected 0.33ml on day 1 and nothing since. Would appreciate any advise anyone else has x

Apply heat and Massaging the breast before helped me x

I have been able to get the most into the syringe whilst in a warm bath x

Can I ask where everyone is getting their syringes from? My midwife wouldn't give me any x

I personally use the lansinoh manual pump and afterwards use the syringes to collect what I got from the bottle.
