anybody else’s baby going through the separation anxiety/object permanence yet?

100%! I try to let him be free to follow me if he wants but there are definitely times when he can’t go with me. He cries but I’m not gone that long… he’s ok. Sometimes he even realizes (very quickly) that he’s ok and goes back to playing. Some days/ moments are better than others. 🤪😅

My babies does that too she screams and cries if I try to put her down or if I don’t pick her up fast enough

My daughter started doing this around 7-8 months she’s almost nine now and is better it lasted for about a week where I just held her whenever and she slowly started to realize I do in fact come back

yeah for sure, he loves his daddy and his papa but whenever me and his mimi leave the house, he freaks out because me and my mom are the people he's the most attached to! it makes things pretty difficult

That’s my daughter right now she will not go to her dad for more than 2 minutes and if I put her down to go to the bathroom she screams until I pick her up again I feel so bad but I can’t hold my bladder forever

My son hates being put down in his playpen unless I get into it with him 😂 he has a week before he got his first tooth where he would happily play by himself and then he cut a tooth and is super clingy now. I think he’s going to get a few more soon tbh

Yes I have baby proofed all of the rooms we frequent and just let her roam. I’m teaching her that I can walk away but she can too so if she unhappy with where she’s at she can follow or figure it out. I only keep her 100% contained if i absolutely have to and I try to make it as minimal as possible

Yes mines does it’s sad but yet funny bc it’s like lil dude im just going pee I’ll be right back🤣💙

Yes, I can still be in view and she’ll cry. She also screamed and cried when she knew my husband was going to go to the gym, fell on the ground and everything. It was like I’m here playing with you 🙄 I’m not her favorite. 🤷‍♀️
