Methyl Folate is best for absorption and naturally occurring, i’ve been happy with Naturelo NATURELO Prenatal Multivitamin with Gentle Chelated Iron, Methyl Folate, Plant Calcium & Choline - Vegan, Vegetarian - Non-GMO - Gluten Free - 180 Capsules | 2 Month Supply https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M3Q83PG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_PE59F03YH76R9X0GDJGG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Yas, please scroll down a bit to a post from “S” on folic acid and see my replies. I added a link to info I believe everyone should know. Not only is it not beneficial to have the “wrong” form, but it can actually be detrimental.

Folate is the natural form and folic acid is the synthetic form . I’ve just been eating foods and herbs that have folate in it

Thank you ladies. Is it okay to take folate and the prenatal vitamins (pregnacare original) that also contains 400ug of folic acid?

Here is the article I’ve referenced before. Folic acid is synthetic. It is not methylated so it is possible to reach a level of toxicity especially if you have an MTHFR gene mutation, which is very common but rarely tested for. There are wonderful options for prenatal vitamins that contain the 5-MTHF version of folate.
