Mounjaro and breastfeeding

No judgement on using mounjaro at all - but I didn't think it was allowed whilst pregnant so I assume not suitable while breastfeeding. Personally I'd wait until I'd weaned off the boob, some people also lose weight naturally at that point because they're less hungry too! Jan babies are still so little x

It works by making you eat less and your supply usually tanks if you cut calories too hard. I started losing weight from breastfeeding around this age with my first so just hoping the pounds start disappearing now that my hunger levels are stabilising 👍

From what I've researched it doesn't pass into breast milk so shouldn't cause harm (limited studies) but my worry is that it may reduce supply due to lower calories.
