Pajamas for long babies!

Hey all! My 4 month old is in need of some footie pajamas. He has a long and lean body type where he grows out of his sleepers because his toes are crunched up at the bottom, not because he is too chunky. He is currently outgrowing his 3-6 months in length and it’s still chilly where we live. Anyone find any brands to be particularly long? Burts bees has standard measurements on their website for sizing similar to other brands but I think they may actually be a bit long? Cotton is preferred! Ty

I find Walmart brands are actually longer than most brands.

I had this issue. At birth he fitted in newborn on his waist, legs he outgrew straight away and his feet needed 3-6m I bought bigger sizes or 2 piece pyjamas in the end x

H&M ice heard are longer fitting. I found the plain white sleep suits in Asda were okay and cheap if he outgrew them fast x

I've found Children's Place and Pekkle to be good

I had that issue with one of mine.I had to cut the footies off and just use socks. My mother in law was so cute and sewed extra material and the socks onto it.

Walmart and Carters brand were what we had the best luck with. I did also end up buying a size bigger than what his age would suggest.

Burt's bees!

Go for bamboo material!

Walmart brand pajamas are honestly the stretchiest high found by the time my son was six months. I had to move him to the two-piece pajamas though, but they lost so much longer. They’re not breaking the bank and they’re stretchy and soft and cute design designs.

cloud island from target i feel like it runs a bit longer

Burt's bees were "skinnier" for my tall babies back a while ago.

Gerber on Amazon!

There’s a bean at Kohl’s that worked great for my long little guy but he ran hot and we switched to two pieces quite early in life lol

they definitely do!

Old navy, specifically the ribbed pjs. My son is starting to fit into 12 month clothing because of his length and will still comfortably fit into 6-9month in their ribbed pjs. And Burt’s bees was another brand that we have always been able to wear past his normal sizing

I love pekkle for my tall slim baby but I haven’t been able to find them anywhere online or in person (and can’t seem to order directly of the website) besides Costco where I got the ones we have, but they don’t have them anymore (at least for the time being they just have summer swim sets by pekkle)
Is there anywhere you’ve been able to find them? I read it’s a Canadian brand, are you in Canada or are you in the US or neither?

Avatar

@Molly I am in Canada, but all the ones I've gotten have been thrifted. I also just did a quick search and costco.ca has some sleepers and baby clothes. Not a lot, but a few

dang, can’t order from CA Costco to be delivered in the US sadly but I appreciate the effort 😅

I usually stick a pair of socks on if the baby is too long and means toes doesn’t get scrunched up

We buy Bonds, it has the flip up socks where we can flip down for socks or flip up to show the ankles. I don’t buy any onesies that have closed feet. Not because my boy outgrows them quick- the opposite, he’s tiny and I wanna fold the feet up a couple times so they fit him lol then he starts growing into them. I can’t roll them up if they have closed feet

he does wear a sleep sack each night and loves it! Our house is pretty chilly so he’s still wearing footies under his 1tog sack. He seems to be comfy temperature wise that way for now

in my opinion the carters brand runs long. My daughters has worn her carters stuff when she’s outgrown other clothes same size different brand all bc their sizes seem to run a little bigger. Also Gerber has stepped up a little bit and wonder nation isn’t bad. I think Carters runs the biggest though.
