Cord fell off and noticing puss in the area

If you are breastfeeding, don't eat anything unsained and only use gauze with alcohol all day on the baby's navel

My sons also had some pus when it fell off. I was told not to put anything on it just to roll the diaper down and let it dry

Yeah this is normal as long as there’s no inflammation

Normal just keep it dry

My baby had this, I just wiped it and left it alone. Was completely fine. It’s going through a healing process.

Peroxide and cotton ball then put aquaphor on it that what I did for my daughter worked well

Leave it let it dry out abit of water maybe but needs to be COMPLETELY dry. Don’t put anything else on it it’s a open wound that’s healing xx

We had this as well and GP said it was normal. It did clear up after a few weeks.

This happened with my daughter. I just made sure it didn’t turn green or red and swollen. Other than that I believe it’s normal!

Same happened to my baby….at her pediatricians office they applied silver nitrate basically cauterized it. They did it twice and it dried out. I would keep it dry until you can see the pediatrician

My daughter had the exact same thing. The doctor said it’s perfectly fine and normal. To continue to keep the area dry and it dried up in 1-2 weeks. As long as the area is not red or inflamed they said it’s fine. ❤️

Happened to my baby.. I saw the GP and she asked to keep it dry and not put anything unless it’s oozing out. In few weeks it got better on its own x
