91st percentile for weight. 75th for height

They say the “average” child is on the 50th percentile but my little boy for example has always been under it, was a tiny baby and has never been the “average”. He’s on the 25th for weight and 9th for height

If your HV isn’t concerned then just continue what your doing, if she’s running about, growing and healthy then don’t panic yourself x

Doctors seem okay with it. Baby’s go through growth spurts and such. He’s happy and healthy.

My little has always been over 95% no cause for concern some babies are just a little bigger and chunky! My daughter’s pediatrician said not to worry too much and get caught up in percentages they change so much and if your pediatrician thinks it’s a cause for concern I’m sure they would definitely bring it up!

It just means that out of 100 kids her age she will be bigger than 91 of them. It by no means means that she's overweight or anything! My first was always in the 20-30 percentile and my second has been in the 90+ consistently

My daughter was 90th percentile in weight and 75th for height at her 18mo check up and her pediatrician said it is totally normal and safe as it adds a safety net for when they get sick and stop eating. I have seen that to be true with my first born. He lost 4lbs not eating in just two days while sick so the fat stores came in clutch

My LB always 90th percentile in weight and 97th height he is 3 next months, everyone always say how tall he is for his age. However no cause for concern at all, pediatrics not worried too as he was 9lbs 9oz at birth

Darling as long as your beautiful girl is happy and healthy then that's all that matters! Don't pay so much attention to this centile stuff it's just guidelines that need to be there for admin reasons, and if there was any real concern then the HV would have flagged it! As someone else said it's all about growth spurts some have them earlier/later than others in weight and height so it will level out! Unless your little one is eating unhealthily, which I don't imagine is the case then honestly don't worry! Xxx
