Endometriosis + High Prolactin Levels

We’ve been trying for almost 3 years and it has been one thing after another. We are about to go into another IUI session this month so wish us luck! But I am super curious if anyone out there has had to deal with both endometriosis and high prolactin levels and had a success story. I’m currently on bromocriptin and letrozole and soon they will give me the pregnyl shot before the IUI.

I don’t have endo, but I do have high prolactin levels. I was taking cabergoline for about 2 1/2 months, and our second IUI with trigger and Clomid was a success! This was after struggling to conceive for almost 4 years, so it’s definitely possible!

What are signs of high prolactin?

Hi there! I've recently had tests come back for high prolactin and I have an MRI scan on Monday. It's pretty likely I'm going to need some meds to get my levels down - I was wondering how you found the side effects etc? I saw you still needed to take clomid, does that mean your cycle didn't return to normal work the meds?

Thank you so much! That's really great information, and really reassuring as well that it didn't seem too terrible and you both had good outcomes.

What was everyone’s levels of prolactin? Mine was 37.8 and wondering if that is generally “high”. The nurse at shady grove told me it was but not “too high” so I’m currently waiting on my blood test to come back after fasting. I’m super worried about it, but almost relieved if this could be the answer to my infertility.

Sorry, I know an old thread but I've just been referred for an MRI and wondered what they did for your tumour and if you've had a BFP yet xx

Replying to this way later but also just found out I have hyperprolactinemia and getting an MRI soon. What has been everyone’s success with the meds and pregnancy going forward? Hoping this is the answer
