Hi there. Feeling a bit overwhelmed since we've started our fertility journey. I'm polycystic and have very irregular cycles. Starting clomid on my next cycle and I'd love any hints and tips. I've heard that it gives you terrible sweats so I'd love to hear from people's experiences and what our chances might be. My FSH levels are apparently too high for NHS funding so IVF won't be an option. Thanks and best wishes x

Everyone reacts differently honestly you wont know til you’re on it. Personally i had pretty much no side effects, just bad lower back pain the day i was ovulating & sore boobs, other than that i had nothing.
Best advice i could give is take it before bed, that way you’ll sleep through any potential horrible side effects x

I don’t understand why high FSH levels would impact funding?
I did my first round. Bit of a runny tummy and the odd headache nothing massive!
Upping to 100mg next week 🙈🤞🏻

I did 6 rounds of clomid and felt absolutely fine on all of them. I ovulated regularly and even got pregnant twice (both times sadly ended in MC). I’d try not to overthink it, just make sure you’re feeding yourself all the right foods and doing exercise like walking to take your mind off things - that’s really helped with my PCOS. Here if you have any questions😊

I been diagnosed with endometriosis ,
Doc said if u want to have kids the ivf is the only options . My in-laws are docs back home so they got me clomid first cycle nothing , 2nd cycle day 2-6 I took it and I just found out I m pregnant . I took at night time before going to bed so didn’t felt anything apart from ovations hot sweats . I know it’s easy to say don’t stress but when our body gives u that challenge that u can’t fall pregnancy our mind says why not ! So good luck and praying for u lovely ladies 🌟❤️
