Could everyone please help me to know what to buy for postpartum sanitary products? Do you all just go with disposable pants or did people buy the tena lady style pants? And recommendations for maternity pads? Also any recommendations for any other products you couldn't have lived without postpartum. Thank you!

Learn more about our guidelines.I just got a pack of M&S in an extra large full brief style. The hospital will give you disposable ones while you’re there but breathable cotton with a maternity pad is nicer. Just be prepared to throw them away. You can also buy disposable matts to sit on in case you are worried about leaking.
I really liked these pads - so soft: https://www.organyc.uk/products/p/organyc-award-winning-certified-organic-cotton-maternity-pads
I couldn’t live without a perineal bottle for the first week really recommend one of those x
My first two I used the hospital pads and then when home the long pads with knickers, my last I used tena lady silhouette high waist and I will be doing the same this time! They were comfortable plus I didn't leak once.
Couldn't live without a peri bottle and witch hazel pads!
The Frida mom postpartum stuff is amazing. The disposable pants can be washed in the machine, so can be used a lot. The ice pads are a godsend. Witch hazel foam. The peri bottle a must, and the expert midwife spritz for bits and bath salts
I used the Frida peri bottle, ice pads, witch hazel pad liners, and disposable knickers. All essential to me and def using again! Postpartum pads just got random brand anywhere (went through around 100 total over a few months, but I had ripped stitches)
Honestly, I've had three kids before now and every time I've had minimal bleeding. Just a regular pad for the first few days and then a panty liner for awhile after is all I've ever needed. In addition to those, I've always relied on a peri bottle and dermaplast spray. My first pregnancy I liked the tucks pads as well, but didn't use them for my second or third.
