Constipation! Please help!
My 7 month old has not pooped in 6 days. She is breastfed and also eats solids, among which lots of fruits and vegetables. What can I do please?

Learn more about our guidelines.Apple juice has been a life saver for my baby boy
Just a cap full in solids or however you give her meds
I never gave her any medicine
@Niky i would mix it into her food then! Not sure if you give her oatmeal or something like that .
Or if you can , although i read that you exclusively breastfeed. I’d try mixing some into your milk in a bottle if you’re not opposed to it.
Nothing more than a cap full though! Too much can give them diarrhea
Feed her prunes .. when daughter is constipated, we feed her prunes purée
We gave my son 2 oz of prune juice before every bottle for 24 hours and the next day he pooped :)
Feed prunes or pears and avoid baby cereal as it has iron!
All of these suggestions are awesome. Also try getting more water in your system it’ll help smooth things out. My baby is around the same age. I normally massage right under the ball of her foot and it helps her poop. If all else fails, warm bath.
Apple juice prune juice just went through this with my 6 month old almost 7 months took her to the hospital at the three day mark and they prescribed glycerin enemas half of 1 gram
Pear juice, warm bath along with massage baby belly
Give her prunes or prune juice. I bought the mommybliss constipation medicine - which is basically prune juice and vitamins. He went right away after giving it to him. He did not poop for about 2 days. He had a hard stool and then right after everything came out.
Puréed Prune gets the job done for my son the same day he’s pooping
Prune purée and prune juice helped my 6 month old who has started eating solids. Have also heard reflexology on the feet helps!
I gave my son a little bit of water and he’s been pooping great now!
I made some apple juice and it worked! I don’t understand why the puree did not make the same effect.
Thank you all so much!!!!
Probiotics are a game changer!! Specifically mama natural probiotics!!!
prunes! they will get it out! also spend a little extra time stretching her!
Prunes! Pears also work but prunes have never failed, you can do the juice but I just pureed some prune, I will do this anytime I know I'm giving a constipating food like sweet potato baby love the taste too!
