Learn more about our guidelines. My fave stroller is uppababy vista v2. But I don't drive and we were walking everywhere so having all terrain wheels and a massive basket was very important. I also have bugaboo butterfly as a travel one but tbh I don't like it because I'm almost 5"8 and the handle is not adjustable so I'm slouching all the time. That's really the only downside. If you're picking a stroller I'd recommend choosing based on your lifestyle as you will be the one pushing it most of the time.
In reality, all strollers offer the same basics- bassinet and rumble seat. If you drive and expect to be out a lot I would prioritise easy fold and lightweight option instead of something like uppababy.
Id also consider if you are planning on having another child soon to get one that is convertible so your not paying twice for different strollers. We got my lo a basic stroller was great for what we needed but I got pregnant again and will now have 2 under 2 and we had to buy a whole new stroller with all the adapters for the second seat I wish I would have gotten the single that converts and then we would have only had to purchase the second adapters instead of the whole new thing.
I have the Uppababy Vista also, and it’s too big to comfortably get around in shops. It’s nice for being outside but even on sidewalks it takes up a lot of room. Will be switching to something else next baby. I used the Uppababy infant car seat which was fine too.
Now my baby is in the Graco turn to me carseat and I love it. No bending over in weird positions to get baby strapped in. Turns and turns easily. Looked into the evenflo turning one originally but practiced at Target and Graco was simple.
I have the uppababy vista v2 and love it! It’s easy in my opinion to get in and out of the back of my car. I wanted to be able to have a second child in the stroller too. Having space underneath was also important! The all terrain wheels are great for being outdoors. We have the aria car seat that attaches to it. We also got the Chicco NextFit Zip Convertible Car Seat for after the aria. We wanted a 360 but consumer reports showed they were not as safe as a non 360 car seat. I went to a Prego Expo where I was able to see strollers and car seats in person before buying and try folding them etc.
I have a used UPPAbaby Cruz V2 and I'd recommend it for heavier use as well as getting the bassinet for it. We've used the bassinet a lot in the house in these early months. You can get a kickboard for the Cruz, but it doesn't allow for multiple seats like the Vista. It's more streamline and lighter than the Vista frame though, and I really like the ability to put the Aria car seat in, the usual seat, or a bassinet with just the one stroller frame.
I have the UPPAbaby Minu V3 purchased new for traveling. That's a really slick system, and it is compatible with infants without buying anything else; you do need to strap the baby in, so it counts as 'container time.' It can't be purchased used probably because it just barely came out earlier this year and is overhead bin compatible unlike the older version. One of the better compromises might actually be getting a used Minu V2 with the bassinet attachment. It's compact and lightweight and it would be all right to travel with. It could be a purchased used.
