Learn more about our guidelines.100% yes! We had the exact same with ours (now a week old). We were in and out of hospital at the time with her jaundice and dehydration, and they told us it takes a bit of time for babies to settle into their pooping routine, which could be anywhere between 5 times a day to every 5 days.
Because of her dehydration they wanted us to call the hospital if she hadn't pooed by then end of day 3 - and she pooped at 10 to midnight 😂
If your baba has no issues (not like ours) then she's probably totally fine
Yes mine was the same pooped loads in first 48 hours and then none for 24 hours I remember being worried but then he pooped normally again and poops okay twice or three times a day now he is 3 weeks
Yes, mine did one Monday eve, then the next one was Thursday eve 🙈 we went to hospital Tuesday as he had jaundice and they said not to worry
My baby pooed 3 times when he was 1 day old and twice at 2 days old, then went 3 days without, now he goes around every 3/4 days or so! All totally normal, I guess you just get to know your baby’s poop routine.
