Learn more about our guidelines.Certain perfumes definitely trigger migraines for me. My favorite perfume is Siano by Phlur, which is discontinued, but doesn't give me migraines. I bought a back up bottle when I found out it was discounted because I love it that much. The pure vanilla fragrance by lavanila doesn't either, it's the a great straight up vanilla scent
Other peoples can. Especially mens cologne. I was at an interview last month trying not to gag, like sir!
A lot of the body mists that my girls wear give me headaches, as well as air fresheners. Higher end perfumes don’t seem to do it.
I find vanilla is a safe scent for me.
Anything citrus is best for me. I don't think any give me migraines, but they make a migraine worse/or migraines make me super sensitive to strong scents. Most are fine if not too plastered on
Other people’s perfumes trigger migraines for me, I don’t wear anything and have no scent to our clothing or anything so my nose is super sensitive
Anything overly strong does me and lush gets me every time, even being anywhere near never mind in the actual shop 😷
I can't do overly sweet smells. My favorite perfumes are any of the vanilla scents from bath and body works (outside if like the cupcake smells or those similar). My current go to is the Vanilla Bourbon.
Cheap ones or sprayed way too much. Every week I go salsa dancing OMG some of the men lather themselves in cologne but it’s CHEAP and smells like catpiss. And they ask me to dance 😭😭 I come home smelling like cheap men’s stinky perfume and I didn’t even get really up close w any of them lol. By the end of the night everyone’s sweating so it’s sweat mixed in w cheap perfume 😂 I change my dress as soon as I get home. 😵💫
