For background I have had x2 early losses in the last 18 months; no living children.
I have had x2 transvaginal ultrasounds which have shown my lining doesn’t get thicker than 5mm (day 8 and day 14 of cycle) which would coincide with my light 1-2 periods.
I really think this has something to do with why I cannot sustain a pregnancy and maybe why we’re struggling to conceive now (cycle 10 post 2nd loss 😔)
No consultant is taking this seriously and doesn’t seem to think there is any correlation but I would beg to differ. We are TTC naturally but I know if I was to undertake IVF, this would be looked into?
For background I am 33, have regular cycles and confirm ovulation. Have had lots of testing and all are “normal”. Have been doing acupuncture for blood flow for 9 months and now working with a naturopath - I’m just interested if anyone has experienced the same and had any ways to thicken their lining?
TIA! ❤️

Learn more about our guidelines.Hey! I have no experience of this but I’m currently reading ‘it starts with the egg’ so I’ve sent you a few snippets relating to uterine lining from the book if anything helps xx
Hey, we've currently done 2 rounds off IVF and have had negative results both times 😥
I also have a very thin lining, only measuring at about 5-6 on the day of transfer. The doctors were happy to go ahead with the transfer as overall everything else looked good. They do seem to think because of my size that could be the thickest my lining ever gets. But I have wondered whether this is the reason our embryos haven't implanted
@Emma hey! I’m really sorry you’re going through this. I can send you the snippets of the book I mentioned above if you wish to read them (if you don’t already own the book!) x
@Jess that would be really helpful. Yes please 🙂
@Emma hey! I’ve just sent them ☺️
@Emma im so sorry to hear this - sending you all the love ❤️ have they recommended anything to help thicken your lining? I don’t know why this is not taking as seriously as it should be!
